The 2009 Allied Media Conference Case Statement is a 14-page document presenting the mission, vision and theory of change that drives the evolution of the Allied Media Conference and the Allied Media Projects (AMP) network. It articulates the year-round power of AMC participation and illustrates the breadth of our community. The case statement was developed using information gathered in our annual online survey, and one-on-one conversations between AMC organizers and 35 members of our network.
The Allied Media Conference cultivates strategies for a more just and creative world. We come together to share tools and tactics for transforming our communities through media-based organizing.
Allied Media Projects (AMP) supports the growth of media-based organizing models and disseminates them through the Allied Media Conference, an annual gathering of social justice organizers and alternative media makers in Detroit. We evolve our work year-round through the Allied365 Training & Exchange Bureau.
