The MediaJustice Network invites our partners in the midwest region to gather for a one to two day long strategy session. MediaJustice Network member organizations will lead the strategy and MJ staff will support hosting a successful event. Member organizations have an opportunity to connect on regional campaigns, narrative strategies, visionary organizing and media making. The MJN Midwest Gathering aims to strengthen relationships, build a shared understanding of local and regional conditions, and create opportunities for deepening support and collaboration across issues and organizations. This call to participate is for our Network members, alumni, partners, and potential new member organizations to join for an event.

Which Network members are eligible to lead this MJN Midwest Gathering with support from MJ staff? The MJN members are: Detroit Community Technology Project, Urbana Champaign Independent Media Center, Woodlawn Community Reentry Project Chicago, School for Designing a Society, SPNN, CURA, Pueblos Midwest, Line Break Media, KRSM/Southside Media Project, Listen Up! Youth Radio, SPEAK MPLS, Voices for Racial Justice, and Witness for Peace Solidarity Collective.
